Privacy Policy

1. Overview

AEOiQ LLC ("AEOiQ," "we," "us") is a free, independent research project on how AI is changing the way things get discovered online. We publish educational guides, original measurement across five answer engines, and open methods. No products, no accounts. This page lists what we collect, what we don't, who we share it with, and how to reach us. There is no account to create and nothing to pay for, so there is very little to collect.

2. What we collect

• Email address:only if you subscribe to Field notes. We use it to send Field notes. We don't sell it or share it with anyone.
• Standard analytics: pages visited, referrer, approximate location, and device type. No advertising cookies.

3. What we don't collect

No accounts. No payment details. No scan data from visitors browsing the site.

4. Processors

We use two third-party services to run the site:

• Resend: delivers the email we send, which today means scan reports and digests we run, and will include Field notes once that newsletter starts sending.
• PostHog: site analytics and session replay. Session replay masks every input field, so nothing you type, including your email address, is captured in a replay.

Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

5. Your rights

Every Field notes email will carry an unsubscribe link. Click it once, click the confirm button, and you're off the list immediately. You can also ask to be removed at any time before the first one goes out. To have your data deleted entirely, email hello@aeoiq.ai.
